My Artist Statement:
I am still very new at art, so I’m still working on learning all of the different techniques. I like to experiment with all different types of media.
I am always trying to do something new.
I do this because I am still trying to figure out who I am as an artist and
what things I like best.
When I am creating my art I like to reflect how I was feeling that day.
If I was sad I might make a collage to let out my frustration.
If I was happy I like to use watercolors and paint bright pictures.
Especially when I am working in my sketchbook you can see my emotions.
When I am working in my sketchbook it helps
me to get out what I am feeling and it reduces any stress that I have.
I hope that when anyone else looks at my art it
helps them to do the same.
My goal for my artwork is that I make it look as good
as I possibly can. I hope to master a certain technique and
make it look professional. I want others to look at my work and feel inspired. Hopefully someday people will like my artwork enough to buy it.
